Thanks for that. Will have a look at this. Are they any good?

Frog would be one of the top brands like doozerie has for sale along with islabikes https://www.islabikes.co.uk/ Earlyrider are probably a notch up https://earlyrider.com/collections/all/products/urban-20?variant=19787882659927
You'll pay for any of those brands new or second hand but they do hold their value very well.

I have a Red Frog 52 that's about 5 years old I keep meaning to put up. It's had no use since May when I finally persuaded my 8 year old daughter to move up sizes. In good nick always kept indoors, does have a few paint chips. I'll try and get some pics up but probably won't have time tomorrow. Older model so it has a grip shift rather than the trigger shifter the newer ones have. About €170 fair?

We've been happy with both Frog and Islabikes brands for our daughter. They are similar in terms of quality (weight, sizing for small hands, etc.) although my subjective view is that Islabikes are just a little better, for the various bikes we've bought from them anyway. And their prices tend to be a little higher too, though we've never regretted paying the extra.

If my daughter were to have only one bike for everything I think it would be an Islabikes bike. Fortunately for her though, both of her parents long ago embraced the idea that one bike is never enough so she has an Islabikes drop-bar bike for "fun" (organised cycling events, and racing) and a Frog flat-bar bike for "function" (commute to school and elsewhere). I see (further) great expense in our future!
