Laptop recommendation - Beginner video editing

I'm looking at starting to do a bit of video editing - My current laptop couldn't run the open source Da Vinci Resolve properly so I haven't really gotten into the details of what I'm trying to achieve yet. I'm really just looking for something to mess around with to see if it's something I'd enjoy doing as a hobby.

I was looking at this one from Curry's. Seems decent on paper. https://www.currys.ie/ieen/computing/laptops/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-s340-14-intel-core-i7-laptop-512-gb-ssd-blue-10199305-pdt.html

If there are cheaper alternatives that would do the job well I'm open to it. I'm not married to the idea of getting a core i7 and the i5's do seem a good bit cheaper. The Lenovo s340 price (659 euro) would be the most I'm willing to pay though. I'm not concerned about 4k (not at this price range anyway!)
