    I have a battery that my regular charger won't charge. I was told the battery could be charged by a different kind of chargor that garages would have.

    Does anyone own one of these? Are the worth the money?

    Your charger will charge it as follows;

    Get a second good battery and connect them in parallel. That is, + to + and - to -. Connect the charger then as normal so both batteries charge together.
    No need to buy a different charger. I've done it here many times with batteries for the fencer. What happens is the charger sees the low voltage in the battery and won't charge it then. The second battery tricks it to see the 12v again.

    Do you put the good batter first in line between the bad battery and the charger or does it make a difference?

    Moderen chargers need about 10 v in battery to start charging so putting two batteries in parallel will do this , no jump leads needed just a bit of cable +to+ and - to - connect charger after a few hours disconnect other battery .
