    Hi all,

I really don't know a lot about computers.
I am looking to buy a laptop for about e200.

From my understanding, would I be better to get something with 4gb RAM and about 128gb internal memory?

I had a hp laptop that had 2gb ram and 32gb internal memory (Windows 10) and it was a nightmare to use. Ran out of internal memory after a few weeks (and was only browsing the web/using Word sometimes).

Also, what is ssd all about? SSD can be used for external memory/saving right? Am very confused with all the terminology.

for 200 euro budget you won't get anything new that is decent

    so second-hand it is

this Lenovo @ 220 (would prob sell for 200) is solidly built, has 8gb ram (desirable to have 8gb these days) and a fast ssd (faster type of hard drive that is the norm now) and decent cpu. Lenono thinkpads are also solidly built and last.

the battery life may not be great being 2nd-hand but if you use it plugged in mainly that's not an issue.

your previous "laptop" with 2gb ram and 32gb storage was a false economy really and pretty much a waste of money as it was not fit to run windows 10.

Yep-i found that out pretty quickly! I dont have a lot of cash, plus lack of understanding lead me down that path.
