Hi folks. Am due to start a new job in Feb. Logistally, it will suit me best to get bus in and train home. It is a private bus company but is part of the tax saver scheme. Can I still qualify for taxsaver? Or is it just that for one company only ? Thanks a mill

I think it depends on what private bus it is. Swords Express is covered under the scheme for example.

Yep, it's Matthews bus I'm using and they definitely covered under the scheme. I'm just wondering if you can combine both? I'm using bus and train

Sorry I get what you mean. I would email them, surely they should offer it. Seems to only allow add ons for TFI services for some crazy reason though.

I suspect you can't get Matthews and Irish Rail from the same supplier. This would mean buying two separate tickets, which would cut into any savings you hope to make.

    Where is this?

There's also the question of whether your employer-to-be is part of the scheme at all, and then if they are buying tickets from both Matthew's and IE.
