    Hello,

I travel extensively with my job since 2015 and have a query regarding my rights or entitlements in regards to Irish taxation going forward and/or claiming back some of what I have paid over the last few years..

I am a PAYE employee earning 100k+ paid into an Irish bank account.
Company is non national and most of my duties are carried out abroad particularly in the last two years.

    Single (never married).
    No children.
No property or assets in Ireland. No savings on deposit.

    2019 days in Ireland : 105
    2018 days in Ireland : 160
    2017 days in Ireland : 130

I live in hotel rooms while working ,couch surf in Dublin, visit family and stay with friends abroad on my days off.

I have not spent 183+ days in any other country over the last three years either. It has been spread between Europe and the USA

Should i be paying Irish Tax?

Can I get back any that i have paid already?

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah i have read them , but it doesn't really give me the answer. The exclusion order may help going forward

I'm non resident for three years.
    Im not ordinarily resident.
I have no property spouse or children in Ireland (or anywhere else).
I have no bills in my name even . i don't even rent a house in Ireland or have a car.

But I am a PAYE worker so the money is taken from me at source. Is there a means to get it back in light of me satisfying the above criteria on their website.

Can anyone recommend an accountant in Dublin city who specialises in this field?

Just to point out that you were resident in 2018.
    Exceeded 280 days for 2017 & 2018 combined.
Your salary is within the scope of Irish tax when non-resident on the amount that relates to Irish work/carried on within the state.
Are you claiming residency in another country?

It would seem that in 2019 you where non-res ordinary res domiciled.
And within the scope of Irish tax on all worldwide income except:

    1. employment/trade carried on outside the state
    2. Foreign investment income not exceeding €3,810

    Just to add:
You could apply for a PAYE exclusion order if you feel you meet the criteria.
