    If anyone knows any good websites or youtube channels to learn CAD from almost the beginning?
    Im a first year civil student but missed the past 2 of the 3 months due to illness and i am quite far behind.
    any help is appreciated

    Lynda does really good courses on autocad, lots of videos and notes covering each aspect, that's how I learned it.

    I 2nd Lynda too but these guys are pretty good as well they always have discounted courses
    & I think they all have free 10 - 30 day trials

    Try this site, http://www.autocadtutorials.net/

    You only need a very basic understanding of how it works, first twenty tutorials on that site should get you going. It's fairly easy to use, for the basic drawing functionality anyway
