Most batteries are made in Turkey, many brands are made in factories there which churn out different names of the same product. Where did you buy it?

Haven't actually bought it yet,I'm only familiar with the usual Varta,Yuasa, Exide etc. It's just in the local tyre place down the road not a major retailer or anything, they are looking for 85eur but as I'd never heard of the brand thought I would do a bit of digging online before buying...

My family own a motor factors. I was going to direct you. Go to a local motor factors, I'd say Bradshaws are in Carlow and ask for a decent branded battery. 85 sounds a little steep unless it is a larger engine or diesel.

€85 is about right so. If they are willing to stand over it, go for it. Batteries are fairly simple things and don't tend to go wrong.

A mate told me he handed over €200 to a garage for a battery for his E92 330D, sounded absolutely extortionate.
