I'm going to transplant some saplings in the field beside the house. The field is rented out and has a four or 5 cows in it from time to time.
To protect the saplings are tree tubes any use if the cows want to scratch themselves or should I just use some posts and wire?

I don't think there's any kind of guard that could protect a tree from cows, just too heavy and they will either eat your trees or knock them over scratching
