no dipstick in my A5, just wondering how to change the oil and not over fill, I know there is the gauge on the screen in car. is this good enough?

Best approach is have a look in the owners manual or castrol.co.uk to see what amount of oil the car takes and fill it with this amount, not a whole lot else you can do.

You can buy a dipstick if you want.

Or it has a oil level in the car but takes abit to give a reading

If the dash is displaying the correct level of oil currently then just put the same amount back into it that you took out of it - you can find the official oil capacity on the web or ring audi.

Note to owner of ****ty car with no dipstick, write on underside of bonnet with white marker quantity of oil when doing oil and filter change once you know correct amount.

Check the manual, if its a 2.0cr engine probably 5litres, so get car warm, drain oil & change filter, drop in 4.5 litres run for a couple mins & check the gauge .

He supplied 5 x 1ltr cans and oil,air and fuel filter and sump bung.
Fuel filter and sump bung not used as was only changed 5 months ago.
    All genuine parts from audi.

Mobil esp would have been dearer.
    Mannol is getting popular.

Be careful with liquids as they're prohibited.

Quite possible you'll never receive it.
