I wonder does anyone know if this can be fitted to a cylindrical tank?

It seems to require a horizontal section on the top of the tank to install.
My oil tank is cylindrical and all top surface is curved

was thinking of getting one of these, but I think hard to beat dipping the oil tank once a week/ month and same the €100 odd euro to fill up the tank?

I had hoped for some advise regarding the installation of this sensor.
I glad that you are able to walk (presumably) to physically use a dip stick.

Not everyone is able to do this.

Would welcome any help with the installation question

Is tank a horizontal cylinder shape or vertical ?
Gauge can easily go on the top of most tanks, but has to be looking straight down to oil, this sometimes requires extra sealant.
    Photo would help.

    PS
It is Christmas and a lot of people here are enjoying the break.

Guidelines and instillation information booklet is free to download showing what's possible too.

    Thanks for your reply
    The tank is cylindrical.
    Top surface is curved.

The supplied instructions indicated a need for a flat horizontal surface but your idea of using a sealant seems like a good idea.
    Thanks again
