Hi lads. So my Xmas build is done and dusted but it just has no power. Been hours messing around with it and nothing. I got a Corsair tx550 psu. Tried different power cables and different sockets and no joy....Any advice?

Try the paper clip test to ensure the psu is working. Google will point you to videos of it if needs be.

If you've spent hours, I'm guessing the messing around didn't involve a multi-meter? Without one you're just fumbling in the dark. With one, you'll be able to isolate the issue in a couple of minutes simply by checking the voltages at a few key points.
