A while back my folks got some equivalent of a "magic eye" installed. We have two Sky TV box sets and the chap who installed it had it running of a box upstairs. I recently switched two boxes- one from downstairs went up and Visa versa because the internet wouldn't work on the box downstairs. Since doing so, we can't pickup Sky on any other TV where the magic eye is installed.

He said to retune the TV that it may be broadcasting from a different frequency but sadly doing so hasn't picked up Sky.

    Any other ideas!?

I assume you have it connected correctly with the cable fed from the RF2 output, the newer sky+ boxes do not have the facility to modulate a RF signal and are without these connections so if it one of those boxes it will not work.

If it is connected correctly then go to the hidden installer menu -services-0-0-1-select and under the RF outlets tab copy the RF channel number from the old box and turn the RF power supply on.

See attached a picture of the cabling setup. The two boxes we have are the same, just one the internet won't connect and the other will. That's why I swapped it around

The box with the CE mark, I assume you connected it to the Sky box?

Bingo. It was turned off. I just switched it on and put it back to the same channel so it just made things easier and no retuning (that I assume would be required).

    Thanks for that:)
