Issue with new philips 4K UHD LED

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue as the following.

Just bought a new philips TV 4K TV. (see spec here https://www.philips.ie/c-p/55PUS7304_12/7300-series-4k-uhd-led-android-tv-with-ambilight-3-sided

Anyway the tv is seems to be working fine for netflix etc, but when i use sky on it, the pixels seem to flicker (some times red, some time white) (see the following link for an example https://drive.google.com/open?id=1e4-YAsjxbvUybAK2OEC7C3IcRFMz3EFV.

That fact that it works fine with netflix, and seem to have a problem when displaying the feed from the skybox makes me think that there may be an issue with the pixels its received from the skybox, but im not really sure.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Even if i knew what to google, so i could trouble shoot it would be helpful.

Well if it works well on netflix, then that tells me that you have a bogey cable on the skybox. Check all sky only cables and their plugs to make sure all is connected tight and that there are no
broken or loose cable to connector cables. Take your time though and examine them closely, it does seem to me that you have a dodgy old cable that is not connecting correctly for the sky-box .

My 2 cent on this would be a target of a bad sky-box cable, or a loose one.

Probably just a dodgy HDMI cable

Done in one. I had the TV linked to my skybox using the "TV Antenna" port, but when i connected using HDMI connection, the issue went away:P. Cheers.

Possibly indeed, but Check every cable twice, especially the sky-box cables imo.
