Hi, bit late now but anyway... nope there is no indication, but you will know its working as the charger gets warm to the touch after about 30 mins of charging. leave it to charge for 10 hours for its very first charge. then for the next 4 charges leave it for 8 hours. then after that 6 hours should be enough to get a full charge. But never allow it to charge for more than 10 hours as they have little overcharge protection. You'll know when it needs charged as it eventually gets very sluggish, but don't leave it to the point where it dies completely as those types of batteries do not like reaching zero charge.
