Can anyone recommend a roomy quiteish pub in D3/9/11, for a casual daytime business meeting after new year?

*this might be happening on a saturday, so not a sports/dance place.

    Business meeting in a pub?

Unless the business is pub related, why not go to a hotel bar or a cafe like most people looking to do business!?

Unless the plan is to get pissed..

The players lounge in Fairview is as quiet as you can get. :)

Would anywhere have dance music going during the day during the week?

It would, it was my first thought, BUT as it closed/burned, not a runner for our timeframe.

The Lounge in The Two House in Baldoyle would be my recommendation for something like that, they do a killer lunch menu and the best chowder of anywhere.

I've never heard of this name before. Is it the old Grangers pub?

I would highly recommend the front bar in the Skylon Hotel, Drumcondra. Big roomy impressive place, plenty of opportunity for a private meeting, really good food.

Yes that's the location, and the similarities end there.

I’d second Clontarf Castle... I go there regularly enough for food and it’s never ‘over’ packed. Great staff, nice relaxing atmosphere, food and service are top notch and it’s a really nice and comfortable not to mention unique surrounding.

Of course, The Castle. My daughter was a chef there so I've been in a lot, very nice for a business meeting.

The Beachcomber in Killester - just pick one of the booths that don't have a view of a TV screen.

Other parties suggestion, Im not going to force them into a situation they are not comfortable. especially when I know there are pubs that would be quite in the early afternoon.

This crossed my mind as well, is it quite tho. I remember it as a busy sports bar type place.

Does anyone have any experience of the croke park hotel, is it quite or have quite spots? I assume it has *ahem, parking*?
Is Gaffney's in Fairview, still quite at the front?

Sometimes Gaffneys too quiet iirc ... as in everyone will know your business. You might want a little hustle and bustle.
Sheds at Vernon Avenue also might be too quiet that time of day.
