Saw several families out & about yesterday morning with kids on what looked like new bikes, new tricycles, one lad shooting around in a toy electric car! another teen in a shiny new bike, Looked like Santa had already been.

Is this a new trend, or just coincidence?
    Might be several Pre-Xmas birthdays?

Birthdays come around this time of year too you know?
And teens buy their own stuff from time to time.

    Ha ha, obviously.

One family out with new kit, new bikes, then another, then another, etc etc, just seemed a bit like Christmas morning.

Just asking if it's a trend or coincidence.

Get it over and done with and up on the ‘gram before everyone else. That way you can bask in a couple of days attention before getting lost in the crowd.

Before the gram? Attention? lost in the crowd?
    Is this cryptic talk?

Santa arrives on Christmas Eve, right?

You don’t know what the word attention means?

Nah , just the boom is back.

All the ****e about consume less and climate change, yet we will see another record amount of absolute crap being bought this christmas!!
All wrapped in copious amounts of plastic of course, all needed a lithium battery that is using slave kids in Africa to mine them.

    a ****ing disgrace.

it's the hypocrisy that kills me!!

    Merry Christmas!!

I know it's still a bit early for it, but some European countries have the present deliveries (or present opening) on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas morning. Or maybe they were just presents from family members who won't be around on Wednesday.

We live in a more diverse society these days.

I'd wouldn't be passing much notice really.
What others have or haven't wouldn't be of concern to me that much.
If i have what I want then that's enough for me.
