I've seen a crowd that specialise in sky active engines. I think they're in cork though.

Start with Windsor for a quote.

Are those skyactive engines troublesome, or is the OP doing an elective upgrade?

If you don't get a quote from a dealer you have nothing to compare with from an indy.

any specific models years or is it entire 2.2 3-6 version range that seems if driven from start wrong is a disaster waiting to happen if buying second hand ? as seems quite few good topics where newer mazda's seems to suffer with various issues -dpf seems common, as read its not done right as on other cars
and doesnt take long to wear engine out.

Reason I asked is my brother in law recently bought a tidy 2014 Mazda3 saloon, 1.5 petrol.

    Should he be worried?

What year and engine is that required on? Be interested to know the mileage as well.

francgalway, if you want this thread to remain open then you need to be civil to other posters, even if they don't have the answers you want.

Maybe don't look for advice if you're not prepared for questions, which paradoxically will help you get what you want.

I could have told you exactly what you wanted but you can keep looking now. Happy Christmas.
