    Evening all,

Get this one up and running.

keeping it simple and going for a small win super yankee on Brian Hughes' 5 mounts tomorrow. Top jock at Newcastle riding for 4 trainers who do well there: K Dalgleish(2), N Richards, P Kirby and J P L Ewart (1 each).

    Will also do combination doubles.

    super yankee stake 1/10 point.

    win doubles 10 x 1/2 point.

Prices modest, not worth talking about really.

Will hopefully have look at Lingfield and try to find 1 or 2 at big each way prices.
On second thoughts i'll just go with the two I've had a glance at today:

    11.45 Pink Iceburg 33/1 Paddy
1.30 Sonnet Rose 40/1 Gen (only 2 places available with just the 5 going to post and up against it but the 40s probably under - represents the chance of this filly here.

    1 pt e/w x 2 singles and a 1 pt e/w double ..

    g'luck if yere punting

Long lay-off but trainer has his running well so I’ll chance a 1/2ew on REMILUC with Sky paying 6 places @ 28/1

    Not looking good for Thurles.

15.35 NAP - Not So Sleepy "Not So Sleepy should have been our nap last time on our hurdles to flat ratings formula and we did point it out but still ignored him. Even after winning easily here in all-the-way style a 5lb rise still means a difference of only 34lb. It would normally be around a stone more than that, so he still looks well in. Hopefully they will go ahead as 8-1 looks a gift!"

3.50 NB - Glittering Love "Glittering Love went through last season unbeaten over fences, displaying stamina and a relish for testing ground. As Nicky Richards points out, three miles is her optimum, but we think she can cope with the shorter trip today before going on to bigger targets."

13.50 Delire D'estruval "Delire D'Estruval returns after a nine-month absence since winning well at Sandown. The handicapper wasn't at all unkind so he starts on a workable mark. The horses are going well now and with the ground no problem for him, he could run a promising race, with the rest of the campaign before him."

13.50 First Flow "First Flow is a tough horse who loves very soft ground. He will have his ideal conditions today but this is a deep handicap with plenty of talented runners. He is arguably well handicapped and should go very close. We fancy him strongly."

13.50 Got Away "Got Away is a big mare who takes a lot of getting fit, and she looked rusty at Newbury on her first run back so I’ve re-fitted the blinkers to sharpen her up. She has plenty of ability but can be frustrating. She's not dishonest, but needs to be encouraged to concentrate. She will love the ground."

14.25 Papagana "Papagana won first time out at Kempton in a Listed race, and while obviously fit enough that day, there was still a lot of improvement in her. She is an honest mare who usually jumps well. Paisley Park is quite rightly the overwhelming favourite, but it will be interesting to see how Papagana gets on against the rest of the field on ground she loves."

15.00 Kildisart "Kildisart ran easily his best race in his novice season when running away with a valuable open handicap at Aintree at his first attempt at three miles plus. He needed the run when third on comeback over 2m4f at Carlisle behind Gold Cup favourite Lostintranslation and the form has been heavily boosted since. Back to three miles and on a course where he won as a novice he has to be given a serious chance."

15.20 Brickadank "Brickadank is a well-bred individual who is going nicely at home. It’s all a bit of an unknown as to what ground he wants and whether he will stay. On what we have seen on the gallops we would like to think he will run well."

15.35 Not So Sleepy "Hopefully it goes ahead after the 11.30 inspection but to stage a two-day fixture at this time of year, with the big day depending on how the track is after the first, has to be tempting fate. After his win here last month, Not So Sleepy has been aimed at this valuable prize and he schooled nicely the other day. Good chance - as long as we race!"

13.40 Glittering Love "Glittering Love is a very talented mare who kept improving last season. She is probably best at three miles, but I picked this race out as a nice starting point for the season and the ground will be suitable. If she's with them turning in I'd be hopeful she can go on and win."

    Lads this is from Narrowingthefield.co.uk

Their stats are amazing, I actually have nothing to d with the site but as its Christmas I am sure they would not mind this.

    2.40 haydock Tommy Whittle Chase

    Conclusion/Selection(s)

THE HOLLOW GINGE (NTD) – Heavy/Soft ground on a LH track over a staying trip look ideal for this unexposed 6yo (form of 211271 under those conditions – all 3 of his career wins) and with a perfect score on the trends and the fact he’s also a qualifier on the UHC angle it’s not hard to come to the conclusion that he’s got an excellent chance in this. 4/1

ORCHARDSTON CROSS (J Scott) – Given the fact the race trends are made up of 8 12 out of 12 trends I thinks it would be unwise to not have this one covered as well. There’s a good chance there’s still more to come from this 8yo after only 6 chase starts and the return of Rex Dingle in the saddle is definitely a bonus (2111 when riding the horse compared to 25460 when others have ridden him).
    11/2

Silver Cup Handicap Chase (Listed Handicap) - 21st December - 3.00 Ascot

    Conclusion/Selection(s)

GIVE ME A COPPER (P Nicholls) – There should be a bit more juice to be squeezed from this one’s handicap mark and these do look like the conditions he excels under – RH Tracks | Listed level & below = 14111 (4/5, 1p). He handles heavy, stays well, Cobden knows him well and as a qualifier on the Nicholls angle (angle qualifiers) there’s plenty to go on to suggest he’s got an excellent chance in this.
8/1 be careful a big drifter this one

JERRYSBACK (P Hobbs) – This 7yo’s 1.5L second to Vinndication off levels in the G2 Noel Novices Chase at Ascot this time last year suggests his current mark of OR 143 looks extremely exploitable (given the fact Vinndication is now rated OR 159). He was never put into the race on seasonal debut last time out but that should have him tuned up for this contest and with wins on his CV on Soft & Heavy he shouldn’t have an issue with the underfoot conditions. My one niggle is Geraghty in the saddle. 4/1

A horse just stumbled on the home bend in that race just there so maybe wise decision not to run him. Trainer was concerned about false ground..

Mythical Madness to go well in the 2.35 at Lingfield at a massive price on his 2nd run for Simon Dow.. Low draw a bonus as stamina a big question mark.. Decent apprentice takes 5 off

I am after having a sneaky fiver on him for the Champion Hurdle. Currently 66/1.

It looks like he will get an entry now.

What’s rare is wonderful Maxbet :pac:

I’m off next week so will be studying the cards to see can I find a winner or two. The punting front has been poor for me last 4 months shipped plenty of losses so looking forward to turning that around :)

November and December are always tough , for me anyway , generally do a bit better in January / February though so hopefully that’s the case again

March can hinge on one week of mayhem
