    Hi there

I purchased Triax Satellite Dish (TD88) which is 88cm and looking for advice what size/length of the wall bracket do I have to go for and which type would be better-standard wall bracket or Swan Neck Bracket Wall Mount?

    Thanks

Thats a fairly big dish, you would need to say what you intend to use it for, is it sky, have you clear line of sight ie garden facing south, the mount you linked is for over the gutter.

I do have some clear line of sight, but it has to go up on the wall. It will be used for Hotbird/Astra.

that bracket looks a bit too light for that size dish, it would want to be a very sheltered location, I would think you would want a mast that's closer to 2 inches in diameter for security. I would say a set of t k brackets with a bit of 2 inch pipe, similar in size to a piece of scaffolding pipe.

What you need is a sturdy wall mount or a pole with T&K brackets. I would use a pole with the T&K brackets. do a google and you will see some pics.

What about this one https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Wall-mount-L-shape-bracket-for-satelite-dish-71-cm-galvanized-steel/322431634210?hash=item4b126c4b22:g:qL0AAOSwdGFYrXeO I was using exactly same one (but much shorter - 300 mm from wall)with my previous dish. I was thinking to purchase 500 mm.

that is the idea and you only need a big stand off to clear gutters, here is a pic using brackets.
