    Hi,

Looking to purchase a 3" roller brush for painting in behind radiators and awkward spots. I had some years ago but tried my local builder providers, Woodies and the hardware stores on Capel Street but no joy.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

Woodies and all hardware stores sell mini rollers. You didn't look hard enough or should ask the staff.

They are as common as normal size rollers

Nope that's where I think you are actually wrong. You are thinking of the regular sized small rollers 5" I believe. I have had conversations in every store asking about the 3" rollers and the reply is try another DIY store I've not seen them in ages!

They are the same thickness so why wouldn’t a 5in do?

Try the Euro stores Dealz etc. Although you might have to wait until Spring and the home decorating season

Or Albany (https://www.albany.ie/find-your-local-store/) I picked up a mini roller there about six weeks ago.

Are you looking for the long handled small roller?

    Mr.price has dome descent equipment
It's not difficult to remove the radiator if you have a basin
Then turn it upside down carry it outside and flush it with garden hose,

    When refitting;
Open the bleed valve then only open the inlet side to fill the radiator before opening the other side for onwards flow,
This will prevent sir passing to the other radiators
Save you a few euro I've removed here: https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/80864-living-room-project/?do=findComment&comment=584268

3",4",5" rollers have the same diameter. any of them will do to get behind a rad.

I've saw small sponge rollers there thinner only 1" thick as double layer radiator sits closer to the wall,

Not necessarily. It depends on the depth of the brackets used
