Haven’t used them but pass by them every day. Seriously clean looking cars and has a few there. Some are UK imports. Viewings by appointment too so best to ring before you head down.

Bought our first Leaf from them, 3 years ago. Very good to deal with, imho.

Called them about a Tesla, spent ages speaking to the guy on the phone giving specs, he never called me back, so I ended up going elsewhere.

They always seem to have some good stock available but I'd not deal with them personally again as they didnt call me back.

Bought a leaf off him in 2014/15, car was perfect but apparently the granny cable and type 1 cable had been stolen while it was being transported that day.... I picked it up when it landed and just about got home but then couldn’t charge the bugger. He didn’t really want to know once the deal was done. The car was 100% but I did feel abandoned by the process. Ev’s were more niche back then.

Contacted Phil Fitzgerald the following day and told him of my predicament, he delivered a granny cable, charge cable and Rolec unit to me in work- a 2hr round trip for him. He also loaned me an ecars charge card. I hadn’t known of electric autos until searching for chargers.

After that I’ve dealt with Phil all the way, great genuinely good guy.

    Is that electricautos.ie?

    Not much stock there.

    Do they import on request?

Yes- that’s their speciality, just give him the car & spec your looking for and he will source one for you.

Recently purchased our second Nissan leaf from Ecocars in Athlone.

Always found them great to deal with from initial enquiry to picking up the car, very knowledgable on ev's and most importantly genuine, trustworthy advice with no pushy sales talk.

Cars are presented immaculately and exactly as described in the advert. This is a true family business where customers satisfaction is everything. Highly recommend them.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

The few times I looked at their stock on their website, I found the list prices to be very high. Main dealer high. I presume there is a good bit of room for negotiation for a cash buyer?

Bought our 151 L24 from him in 2017 (import) and found them excellent to deal with. Car was perfect, got a very good deal and he took the time to talk through absolutely everything with me. I had priced around and found them competitive.
