Cannot pair new TV with Sky

I bought my mother a TCL smart android tv. All working well except she cannot change the volume on the sky remote and has to use the tv remote to do this. She's 90 and her eyesight is not the best and she's missing the button and pressing all sorts!

Sky don't have a code to pair the tv and TCL were no help. Anyone any ideas? The sky remote is a rev 9f version.

TCL have a connection with Thompson and Alcatel, maybe one of those codes will work.

try this, its a bit old but may still work

If the set up didn’t work
If you followed the set up carefully but can’t see TV Guide at the end of it, follow these simple steps:
1 Check and make a note of which TV channel you use for watching Sky digital TV.
2 Press tv on your remote.
3 Hold down select and the green button together until the red light on your remote blinks twice (this is after about 2 seconds).
4 Key in the channel number your TV uses for watching Sky digital TV, use 9 and press select and hold for 2 seconds. The red light blinks, meaning
the remote settings are made properly.

Thanks but its only the volume control on the sky remote that's not working. I can change the channels no problem.

Exactly the same problem here.
I believe you need a REV-10 sky remote.

All remotes in Irish shops are REV-9 and will not work with TCL TVs

Ebay have loads of rev-10s but look out for fakes!
Ask Power City to stock them as they probably sold you the TV.
