Merc Sprinter LWB 2015 reg - what’s the easiest cheapest way to get a spare key/fob?

been offered a nice fairly flawless ‘15 reg Sprinter

only hitch is the previous owner lost the spare & didn’t replace it

I want to get a spare now (before that day arrives where Murphy’s law will ensure I’ll lose the remaining key I have)

anyone out there had to clone a key for one of these? Is it a d€aler only situation or more straightforward?

Ring a dealer for a quote
Mail autokey.ie and check with them for a quote

Autokey.ie are great to deal with.

Where in the country are you?

As above most locksmith can supply and code a replacement key. A quick call to the dealer first though. Some keys can be reasonable. Although Mercedes hourly rate will probably make it more expensive at the dealer.

Try Lockdoctor, they were recommended on the Motorbike forum for lost keys of any sort.
