Laptop to monitor for remote connection

Hi, just wondering how this would work.

At work, I have two screens.

When I work from home, I take a company laptop and remote in to my desktop. So everything is now condensed to one screen.

If I start working from home regularly, I'd like two screens again. Is it possible to hook the laptop up to two monitors at home so that remoting in to my work desktop has the same effect - ie. I have two screens again? Is this even possible? Does the laptop need two connections (one for each monitor) or how does that work?

Very basic question I'm sure, but having a hard time googling it.

Have you tried to poke around your RDP settings?

Thanks I'll try that. It's not an issue yet as I haven't purchased monitors yet - I just use the laptop as is - but I'll try it next time.
