Can’t link it, but search Gillette UK on Facebook. See attached. Guess P&G sales are down thanks to hipsters with beards influencing our young folks.

This happened before and backfired as they wouldn't honour a number of the orders.

Lost them even more customers as a result

The price of them alone should be losing them customers. And then all the versions of the same razor coming out with a different colour or strip.

I tell everyone to buy women’s razors. The 3 blade disposable pink ones in Aldi will last you ages.

Women’s razors tend to be a lot sharper as there’s other alternatives available to women e.g waxing, foams etc.

I'm actually using the Amazon Brand razor (Solimo) and it's very good in fairness.

In before the double edge razor brigade arrive to say their piece.

I received one of these razors about a month ago from this offer. It took about 5/6 weeks to arrive.

Didn’t get the last one and stopped using them altogether as a result.
They are overpriced to rip off levels and the quality/life of them is much less than it used to be.

I’ll stick with Lidl’s razor, the Shark. Better value and great quality.

I wonder will there be any offers for men's razors...

Attacking your target market with advertising probably didn’t help either

    Its disappeared.

If woke Jillette didn't insult menfolk, they wouldn't have to give away products, or drop their prices by 15% avg (to recouperate the $bn's in lost sales) due to their recent rotten toxic adverts.

Also, wonder do they still overcharge for female (equal cost of manufacture) razor products aka 'pink tax'?

Well, I got my free razor. Two blades included.

Btw women’s razor are the best razors you can buy. The Aldi 3 blade ones. Women’s razors tend to be sharper as there’s alternatives for women. I have to bloody shave every day and a half.

I'd encourage people to think seriously about getting an old-fashioned razor that uses old-fashioned razor blades. Another chance to something positive for the environment.

I’ve a good auld Stanley 8 range that recycles my old razors.

There not old fashioned but most lads don't see the long term savings after the initial cost of the razor.

This is worth any man investing in https://www.shaving.ie/products/safety-razor-kit-gift-set-r89.html
I can vouch for how good that razor and blades are been using them years.
You get a longer lasting shave and save a fortune. You can get 100 blades for about €10 which will easily last the year

not to hijack the thread, but would agree with the above poster. bought a safety razor, razor blades, brush and shaving cream about a year and am very happy about the decision. Not only a lot cheaper, don't get any rash from shaving that i had been getting from my gillette razors. Might be just me thou !!

What makes those safety or not safety?

Any evidence to back up those claims ?

think 'safety' is just the name of the design of the device holding the razor blade, as in to safely use the razor blade

Sounds like speculation. A razor is a razor esp. if made in the same factory, using the same materials. Only change would be a drop of pink in the plastic handle colouring.

One thing that has been reported about the womens blades is that they cost more (from the big companies such as J/Gillette). They charge more, simply because they can get away with it.

    Aka the 'pink tax'.

Shave at the end of shower in the morning, no razor burn or rash! Facial hair is easier cut after 3 mins in shower cos the warm water relaxes hair follicles. I just get the mega pack of Mach 3 razors whenever they are on deal on Amazon.
