eir bunde tv and broadband and amazon prime video

    signed up for eir bundle rencently and its give you access to amazon prime video for one year.
    However when i try and access amazon ..it is asking for an apple id ?
    is this right?
    anybody have a similar issue?

    You need to sign up first through the my eir app (and create an Amazon.com ID if you need to).

    Amazon Prime doesn’t require you to have an Apple ID per se. However OP, in my experience having owned quite a few iOS devices, it’s very difficult to go very long owning one without signing up for an Apple ID, even if it’s just to use the App Store.
