I just had this serviced by Board Gais last week, and today when I tirn it on, it makes a sort of clicking noise and the "fan" light blinks in tandem with the clicking.

Anyone know whatbthe issue is? Likey to be the fan itself or the PCB?

    Any help much appreciated!!

Your entitled to a callback from the engineer if serviced in the last 60 days, give them a call.

Thanks, I did and he says its either pcb or fan, and will cost about 300 plus labour ;(

It could be, but would wait until they visit to be sure

    Thanks.

Is an engineer from bord gais likey to be more expensive than an independent engineer for a repair job such as pcb or fan replacement?
