Grocery shoping in Dunnes + Apps

Anyone got any idea if there are Apps that will assist you with your Grocery shoping in Dunnes and the like. What I am looking for is an app that will show the price of an item I scan and add all items I scan to a total. I know Supervalue supply a device that does this, however I hardly ever shop in SV and the big shop is done in Dunnes. Most barcode scanner apps like QR reader I have used do not give the price of an item, it just lists several search engines.

I'd imagine that something like that would have to be an official Dunnes app because it would need to have access to live pricing. Given that Dunnes can't even organise online grocery shopping, I'd say you're sh*t out of luck in afraid.

Tesco have the scan as you shop - its great IMO. Dunnes could certainly benefit from it

Best thing ever, I always forget to pack as I go around though. Also If you forget to scan something and they do a service check you're f*cked.

That's why my husband won't use it - he's afraid he will forget something :)
