Kitchen DIY

Built a kitchen unit this weekend with a simple sink with parts from B&Q as a temp solution and was surprised how easy it was.

Besides what I was able to learn this weekend, I am also looking for real wood doors and more smart-kitchen options (space saving shelves), but love the idea of putting it together myself as it seems to be doable as long as you allow yourself a bit of time to create and make a few little mistakes.

So, for those of you who DIY kitchen builders:

Where you you buy cabinets, drawers, smart features like heavy duty shelfs and space-saving organisers. I have looked around at eBay and Amazon and found a few things, but I am sure that you have far better DIY kitchen sources.

Would be interested in higher quality options as well.

    Many thanks, A.

B&Q and IKEA will have various options for the innards of drawers and presses. (the Ikea ones will be designed for their units but may still work for you, B&Q are more likely to be standard)

They both do various options in solid wood, but if you are looking for high end Brazilian rainforest species you'll need to look elsewhere!

Looking for standard sizes. I am not into exotic timbers --- budget does exist ;) --- but any pointing to reasonable options is highly welcome :)
