I drove between Donegal town and Dunkineely recently. Why do so many drivers ignore the 60kph and the 50kph speed limits through the roadworks between the Frosses crossroads and Dunkineely?

So you were crawling along at 50kmh holding up traffic and cars were passing you out and you want to know why...isn’t that right?

why do they do it outside cliffoney on the sligo road was driving back on saturday same thing cars overtaking at 100kmh

even though there normally is a by law in place and if a speed camera was put there it would catch pretty much everyone.

answer- the speed limit isnt enforced

There's nothing wrong with "crawling along at 50kmh" in a 50kmh speed zone or doing 60kmh in a 60kmh zone.

The OP said that was the speed limit.
