What are CT200H like?

Hi All

I've had a leaf for nearly 5 years now and with the new FCP charges, we want a second car so she can drive on longer journeys with no stress. As far as I know the CT200 is basically a prius with the Lexus extras. My wife just spotted this on donedeal. It's at the top of my budget, but we really like the look of it.

Is there anything I should be worried about or look out for?
It's vinyl wrapped too, pro/con?
Are there similar Auto Hybrid alternatives at this price point?

Had 1 for 2 years, 50-60 mpg, never had a problem.

Yeah, was concerned about the 4 owners and having to go to the UK, plus the max I'm really willing to spend would be 9k, so not a huge saving if I'm able to get a nice one locally for that.

only 2 owners 6000 euro more miles ..... look around..... I liked mine... good luck

My cousin had one, lovely car to drive and well spaced out. Wasn’t very easy on petrol though, he was only getting about 40mpg and he wouldn’t be the wildest in a car.

Much better bet would be a Honda fit hybrid,roomy,dependable,Uber frugal- well kitted out

Is that US gallons? It should do over 50 MPG no bother, average here is 52 (302 users): https://www.spritmonitor.de/en/overview/26-Lexus/1228-CT_200h.html?fueltype=2&powerunit=2

It's closer to the Auris than the Prius, so it has independent rear suspension (Gen 3 Prius of the time did not). Rear space isn't great.

Good car, would worry about the vinyl wrap though - done for 2 reasons.

1. to look cool by a young wan - may or may not drive it hard/look after it.
2. might be wrapped to hide scratches etc.
