Driver side lock not working properly

    Hey,

I have an 03 Toyota Corolla. To (un)lock the car I have to physically enter the key into the drivers side door.
This morning, I noticed that to unlock it I had to put a bit more strength in and same to put the keyhole back in position.
It seems to be fine with locking it. I didn't have time to check the other keyhole though.
Would I need to go to a mechanic?
I don't know much about cars but would the cold and wet weather have a hand in this? (I don't think it would but I'm not 100% sure)
    Many thanks in advance

It's possible there is dirt etc in the key hole. Give it a good spray with something like 3 in 1 oil
    Available in all motor factors
