Does polish deteriorate over time?

I have a bottle of Turtle Wax Colour Magic for a few years. I have used some of it and always close the cap tightly.

Just wondering does it deteriorate? For example, would little crystals (or something) develop over time that would scratch the paintwork?

There is no expiry date on the bottle.

    Thanks.

I had one of them on the shelf for YEARS. It went into the bin as it had gotten very viscous. Quite a bit of the solvents had evaporated.

I imagine that something similar could have happened to yours.

It's probably fine. A good shake and should be good. If you're wary though for the sake of a tenner just throw it in the bin.

I think you're right. Better safe than sorry.

    Thanks.
