I plan to change my router, which will change the wifi setup in the house.
Can I change the wifi setup on the HKC alarm myself or does it need an installer? I dont have the Engineer code.

It's done thru the engineer menu. So an installer is required. Depending on the original installer and if it's a gsm and wifi card it might be able to be done remotely.

I havent logged in in a long time, saw this and thought I would update.

When I set up the new router, I set it up the wifi with the Wifi ID and password of the old router.

Alarm system connects with no issues.
