    Hey folks,

    Quick run through.
Was made unemployed on Fri 15th Nov. Got all forms etc approved for Jobseekers by the 20th, and received my first payment on the 27th, and two since.

Just got offered a job there, starting on the 16th of December.
I'll be working from the 16th-20th, off for the Chrismtas break, then back in on the 2nd Jan. As I'm starting late in the month (after their payroll is managed), I've been told they won't be able to facilitate a payment until Jan 25th.

Two quick ones - am I entitled to anything for that initial week of my unemployment? If payments run from the Wednesday/Tuesday, there's nine days that I've not been covered for.

Secondly, today's payment I collected, that's essentially my last yeah? I'm not gonna complain about finding a job, I guess in the short term it might have been easier if they had me start on Jan 2nd though, given that today's collected amount is the only income I'll have for the next month and a half.

    Thanks in advance!
