I have a problem with my Rangemaster electric oven. The fan is rattling like a train in a tunnel. The element is still heating. Can anyone help.

to see what is going on the rear inside panel of the fan oven needs removing, when turned on again if it sounds quiet then the problem is the rear panel is catching the fan blades, if the sound persists then the motor probably needs replacing, also watch out for the end of the thermostat capillary that it has not slipped down and catching the fan blades. the motor is usually the same as Belling/Hotpoint
