    Hi All,

I have a pair of KRK Rokit 6 monitor speakers that I'd like to use for tv and streaming music to over Chromecast, just wondering what would be the best choice to get the sound to these that maintains quality.

The speakers are active and have 3 input options, RCA unbalanced, TRS balanced and XLR balanced.

I've tried the RCA option using the headphone out from my TV to the RCA in on both speakers, sound is good but they omit a high pitch noise every now and again which I reckon is down to interference or gain around the cables as there's a few other items powered on back there, Sky box, ps4, router, STB and TV.

So I guess I need to go down the Audio interface route, I don't have much experience with these thou, can I feed an RCA input into one of these? And then probably go balanced TRS out?

    Any recommendations on interfaces?

    Tia
