Outlander PHEV owner's opinions

    Hi all,
I am looking at buying an Outlander PHEV 2016 in the near future. The battery life will suit my daily commute to a T and with charging available at work it would really suit.

My questions mainly revolve around the battery live and servicing the car.

From what I can tell, from reading online, getting a battery report when purchasing is recommended but as they seem to only be available from a Mitsubishi garage buying one of the second hand imports that are online would not come with such, so how can you check that the batteries are ok?

Secondly, servicing such a car seems to mean having to get it to a Mitsubishi garage to ensure the technology involve in the car is looked after properly, has anyone found this to not be the case or do you religiously bring it to a main dealer for service?

Will the 8 year warranty on the batteries carry over from the UK and only with servicing with a Mitsubishi garage?

If you have any other input on the car itself I d really appreciate it.

I am hoping to get a GX4H with the newer body, the added extras seem to be worth it but the pricing online seem to be all over the place. So far any I ve have driven are reported as ex business vehicle with full Mitsubishi service histories.

    Thanks
