I was trying to find the source of a leak for a friend in their house. Think I have identified its coming from a compression joint (and bent copper pipe) under the floor upstairs. The pipe is connected to the TRV on an upstairs rad.

However, the pipe appears to be 10mm copper
Is this normal for a (quite old) CH system?

I'm going to have to cut through the laminate floor and OSB sub floor to get access to the fitting & pipe. Looks like it is connected to a 90 degree reducer. But can't identify the larger pipe type/size.

I've attached a few photos. See if you can spot the kink :pac::pac:
