Looking for advice. A courier delivery lorry backed into an old stone outhouse and knocked a corner out of the wall on my farm.

Its will cost me maybe 500euros or 2 days work for a builder to repair. Does their insurance cover it or what is the best way to approach this?

Their insurance should pay but you’d need proof it was them.

If you have proof, I’d say they will just cover the €500 as most would have an excess well above that on their policy.

    They should cover it.
The company I drive for we would take a picture of damage done and send it to the transport manager who then makes contact with that person and gives them the option to repair it yourself and send it receipt and cheque is posted out or he will get it repaired.
If it’s a courier they might be sub contractor for a main courier and that’s when it can get sloppy.
Did you take details of driver and van ?
Take picture of damage to shed.

Anything under 1000 quid wont go through insurance
