I'm looking for classics like Treasure Island and Adventures of Robin Hood with nice illustrations.

Do Puffin, Wordsworth or Penguin do these?

I've been on Amazon and Book Depository and there are a lot of "independently published" books but I'm wary of these from past experience.

    Any hrelp would be great.

Ask the library - you can see them in there in the flesh (so to speak), and then you can order them online (or even better, from a local independent bookseller. :)).
