My usually exuberant Ragdoll isn't well at all, it started yesterday morning - she vomited, then went off her food and water. She is limp and sleeping continually, I brought her to vet this morning who said her temperature is 39 and he couldn't actually find anything wrong yet. He gave her 2 antibiotics but so far 3 hours later there is no improvement.

How long should I wait to see some improvement in her ?

Call the vet back. Better safe than sorry.

Try to get some fluids into her in the meantime

You can make up a rehydration fluid; pint of water, tsp salt, tbs sugar, get syringes from a pharmacy.
