Pork stock cubes.

    Where in Cork can I get pork stock cubes?.

    I've never seen pork stock cubes or pots - perhaps try a Chinese shop.

    For some reason, in this part of the world, we don't value pork stock.
    Look in any Classical recipe book and you'll see
    chicken stock
    beef stock
    lamb stock
    veal stock
    fish stock
    vegetable stock

    but not pork stock.

    I wonder why. Asian cultures use pork stock a lot.


    OP, I'd substitute with chicken stock if I couldn't find it - or make your own.

    Weirdly it is part of the Knorr range but I have only seen it up North

    Have got them in either Tesco or Supervalue Recently, wish I could be more help, but they are out there.

    Oxo also have ham stock cubes / stock pots (in a pink box) but I think only in UK.

    tesco extra (larger stores) have them in cubes, I bought them while they had a special on knorr stocks a while ago but actually havent found a recipe to use them in yet.
