Hi my name is Mariah and I am new here. I have recently joined this forum as I have been told that this is a forum of vast categories that we can talk about and people are here are extremely friend towards each other and help others a lot. So this would be my first post please ignore if any mistake is found.
I am here to talk about my smart tv. I have recently bought one Sony 40 inch smart tv and was using it quite nicely until one day the problem arrived. It normally happens like this that when I turn on my tv it automatically connects to the wifi and I normally play You tube and listen to some music that I like. It happened something like this, I turned my tv on and clicked fir youtube and the youtube opened but I played any video the video did not run but my wifi was ok as I was using the same wifi connection on my phone and it was running smoothly. I turned off my tv and turned it on again but the same problem continued to happen, it was connecting to my wifi and youtube is running but no video is being played. I disconnected the wifi and reconnected again. I even turned off the wifi and turned it on again. There is nothing left that I did not do still the problem remained. When I reset my TV it worked and it happened two times. The thing is I cannot do reset every time it happens right ? that is very time consuming. I need a solution for this. I thing my TV is a Malaysian Sony version. Please give me any suggestion to fix this issue.

Post the model number from a tag on the TV - maybe on the rear.
That might help someone to help you.

    Welcome to boards :)
