There is no water in the shower, bath or toilet systems. What is happening Irish Water? We have been promised that this is being looked into and being escalated. There seems to be no one responsible to deal with this issue. Is anyone there who is listening? Has my complaint been registered? Do you care?

    Hi Sudesh Jeewon,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

If your bath, shower and toilet are affected, but your cold kitchen tap still has supply, it sounds like you may have an airlock in your internal system. We recommend that you contact a qualified plumber or, if you live in an apartment, your building manager, who will be able to assist you with this.

Irish Water is responsible for the maintenance of the public water and wastewater mains and, therefore, internal plumbing matters fall outside our jurisdiction.

    Thanks,
    Mairead

    Hi Maired,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I wish Irish Water was as prompt as you in getting the problem sorted. The issue is not only in my house but most of the houses in my section of the estate. Daily complaints are being filed by residents but there is no tangible progress. It seems like living in a Third World country. Would you personally accept loving like this?
