Spotify issue on echo dot over powerline

    Echo dot in garage, which has wireless internet from house via powerline adapter.
    If you ask it to play a song, it continues what was played in the house, not the song you named.
    Anyone encounter similar or know how to fix that?

    Setup a different group in Alexa app for your garage and set the preferred speaker for it to be your echo dot.

    Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with powerline adapter
