    Hi,

    My 8 old pc parts have started to go on the blink, hard to fault find but computer is randomly turning off without warning no matter what i'm doing.
    changed plugs etc and swapped out Memory to test it. set overclocks to default but no change
    I will reset the cmos just to check, can't change PSU because none spare but i'm thinking this is a good time to upgrade.

    current setup
    motherboard P8Z68-V-LX
    Cpu 2500k
    PSU Corsair TX650 V2 650w (maybe whats at fault)

    I have a GTX 1080 that i will keep


    Only need these items if they can fit in my current case
    CPU
    PSU
    RAM
    Motherboard

    1. What is your budget? 500-600
    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming
    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? no
    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? GPU, storage and Case Fractal Define black Pearl mid tower R3 (Will new motherboard fit in this?)
    5. Do you need a monitor? no
    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 2560x1440 100hz
    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? no
    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? yes after the cpu shows its age
    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]
    9. When are you purchasing? Cyber Monday if good bargains
