    Hi guys..

Bought a couple of TV's from you in the past excellent sales and service experience 👌.

I am looking at getting first OLED..torn between the two above..I have a LED Bravia and love it so would be swayed to go Sony for the OLED.

The only thing I am concerned about is that as an avid gamer and will be buying the PS 5 next year , I note that the LG above supports HDMI 2.1 and as far as I know the AG8 doesn't.

Will this be an issue for me , should I decide on the AG8, when the new consoles launch as I imagine they will be HDMI 2.1 ready?

Hi , I had an AF8 last year and sold it and got an LGC8 , The Sony has great speakers and is gorgeous looking but the android OS is fairly crap  and the remote is terrible , check them out in a shop before you pull the trigger ,  the LG OS is brilliant , probably the best on any TV and also the magic remote is great to use , after you use the LG you realize just how bad the Sony is in comparison .

    Hey OpenGoal.

I tend to agree with Gizabeer. Both are excellent televisions but the operating system on the Sony can be sluggish.

To get a better image than the C9 you would have to go for the AG9 Sony.

At the current boards deal £1240.00 or 1399 Euro the 55C9 is great value for money.

It maybe possible that Sony could do a firmware update for 2.1 but I haven't heard anything regarding this as of yet.
