looking for advice/info on toilet replumb

    had an extension built 4 years ago, below par builder is a nice way of putting it and as well as some other issues now the toilet he installed downstairs is backing up due to poorly Installed pipework, the sink and toilet share the same exit flow so smells have also been an issue. Will have to get Dr drain but as a long term solution looking to replumb toilet. Any idea of costs on this? Also wondering if it's worth pursuing in small claims..he was very unpleasant to deal with so thinking less stressful to just sort and not engage with him but also annoying that we've had to do some many fixes since he made so many F#$k ups..
